Clear catches, room for maps
A message-bottle catch gives you the bottle instead of a fish. Clearer fish details, a steady 28-slot inventory and triple merchant treasure values make your next voyage easier to read.

- An active treasure map no longer compresses the inventory grid. All 28 inventory slots keep their normal layout.
- Reopen your parchment by clicking the existing unrolled map in your inventory. The separate hunt-timer button is removed; reopening does not restart the hunt.
- All 16 merchant treasures pay three times their previous sale value, from Iron Goblets to Gold Crowns. Treasure drop chances and rarity chances stay unchanged.
- A message-bottle catch gives only the bottle, and the catch result shows its bottle artwork. The usual Fishing XP remains; Perfect catches retain their 5% bottle chance.
- Fish hover details focus on weight, sale value, personal records and an easy-to-read catch date.
Game 0.13.9 is live. Restart your client or reload the browser game, then check version 0.13.9 on the sign-in screen. The screenshots show the actual local inventory and fish-tooltip interfaces with sample player and catch data.
The map already in your inventory remains the way to reopen its clue. Its original 15-minute deadline keeps running while offline, and reopening never resets it.
The increased values apply to merchant valuables awarded by treasure hunts or obtained from opening treasure chests. They do not multiply wallet gold, fishing-sale prices, equipment prices or crafting costs.
A bottle replaces the fish for that catch. It does not add a fish to inventory, trigger a Hawkeye bonus fish or count toward fishing-weight hiscores. Your normal Fishing XP is preserved.
Fish tooltips no longer show technical catch/account identifiers or a raw timestamp. Useful catch information remains, with a readable date.
Bottles, rolled maps and opened maps remain untradeable and cannot be sold. This update does not make unopened maps tradable. Existing unopened treasure chests retain their separate Trading Center rules.
