Common Artifact Scrolls join NPC loot

Ordinary NPCs can now drop Common Artifact Scrolls, opening another route to Shipwright combining and equipment tier upgrades.

• Ordinary NPCs gain a separate 10% base chance to drop one Common Artifact Scroll.
• The scroll matches the NPC’s existing equipment tier, with sources available across T1–T9.
• Existing Rare, Epic and Legendary scroll chances remain 7%, 2.5% and 0.5% per kill before bonuses.
• Use matching Common scrolls at the Shipwright: combine 20 into one Rare scroll, or use a next-tier Common scroll with Legendary equipment and 5,000 Coins to advance its tier.
• The browser client now continues loading if a cache refresh stalls after completed downloads.

The Common roll is independent of the existing higher-rarity scroll roll, so one NPC can drop both. Equipment, Coins, Scrap and unique ship-piece odds remain unchanged.

The Lookout’s existing Artifact bonus also applies to Common scrolls. Poseidon’s Trial Pirate keeps its separate tutorial rewards.

The cache repair keeps completed downloads and still checks the manifest, size and hash of every required game asset before startup.

NPC drop tables and Artifact acquisition pages have been updated from the matching game implementation.
