- Begin in the public harbour with a character of your own, a choice of six gods and short fishing, combat and crafting quests you can accept when you are ready.
- Meet a living harbour: crewed service ships, island captains, smooth sailing, moving chart markers and the Follower aboard a Poseidon Collector boat.
- Keep your next adventure in the Captain’s Journal. Open the book beside Mail or press J to see unfinished jobs, rewards and navigation.
- Sail together and roll together. Eligible party members roll dice for ordinary NPC loot, with a visible winner and rerolls for tied leaders.
- Make your ship yours with six themed Godly boat cards, a larger Collector showcase, reusable physical boat skins and a separate Pirate Premium page.
- Find a clearer view of the sea with Area chat, better-placed combat and recovery information, readable service icons and a tidier shortcut row.
- Prepare for three regional seas, a 40-player world cap, Name Change Scrolls and region transfers. Steam launch and free-access availability remain pending.
Your first voyage starts on the water. Choose your name, starter boat and character, then meet the Follower in the harbour. A short introduction helps you choose Artemis, Hades, Aphrodite, Zeus, Ares or Poseidon and equip your first Net and Common T1 gear. Completing that setup opens ordinary play and grants a one-time ten-minute blessing of +50% sailing speed.
Learn at your own pace. The fishing, combat and crafting lessons each offer Accept quest or Skip · Play the game. A skipped offer stays available when you return to the Follower. During the first voyage, fishing uses the Catch button; Space cannot advance or skip dialogue. Keyboard catching becomes available after the voyage is complete. Existing sailors already in Poseidon’s Sanctuary keep their current tutorial progress.
From your first Anchovy to your first upgrades, the lessons take you through the actual harbour services. Sell your catch, earn 2,000 Coins and choose a regular Captain; face a 6-Hull Training Pirate; collect Rare T1 scrolls; then improve Cannon, Sail, Hull Plates and Spyglass in order with supplies from the Follower. A small Harbour Fishing Cove beside the Fish Market is open to everyone for level-1 Net fishing. Other protected harbour water remains closed to fishing.
Finish with supplies for the journey ahead: 300 Scrap, 1,500 Coins and a Common Treasure Map go to your hold first. Ten Repair Kits and ten each of Wood, Cloth, Metal and Glass go directly to your Bank. You also receive +50% all XP for one hour, with the remaining time visible beside your other buffs.
Three island captains give you somewhere to sail next. The Net Keeper wants ten Anchovies, the Coast Warden asks you to defeat ten ordinary coastal ships of level 10 or lower, and the Temple Voyager seeks ten Skull offerings. Each job has its own rewards, chart marker and navigation. The Journal keeps unfinished jobs together; completed entries leave the list. Follow a compass marker and a large world arrow, fold the objective panel, or hide guidance when you want a quieter view.
The harbour has new faces and familiar services in motion. NPC ships carry sailors drawn from our original character collection, with varied clothing, hair and skin colours. Harbour and quest boats sail, turn, bob and leave wakes; their chart markers travel with them, and they pause for visitors. Look for the Bank’s blue Bireme III, the Shipwright’s red Trireme III, the Merchant’s white Fireship III and the Fish Market’s green Bireme III. A sailor now watches over the Trading Center, a Follower stands by the Temple offerings, and Poseidon’s travelling Follower sails aboard the original Collector vessel.
Party victories now have a shared moment at the end. Eligible nearby party members roll for an ordinary NPC’s loot barrel. The highest die wins; only tied leaders roll again. The result appears below the compass for everyone involved. Boss rewards and tutorial rewards keep their own rules. Chat starts in Area for visible nearby sailors, with Global for the current world and Party for your crew.
The Store gives each divine ship room to be seen. Six themed Godly boat cards sit alongside Paints, Storage, Misc, Collector and Diamonds, while Pirate Premium membership has a separate page. Collector Edition has a larger boat showcase and preview at its planned €39.99 price. Early Access is intended to be free; Collector is optional. The paid game-access card is removed, and real-money Collector and Diamond purchases remain marked Coming soon.
Boat skins are now reusable physical items. Equip a skin from your hold, swap it for another, or take it off to trade, sell or bank it. An equipped skin occupies its own equipment slot; swapping returns the old one to the slot freed by the new one. Unequipping needs an empty hold slot, and banked skins must be withdrawn before use. Previously consumed skin unlocks are preserved as physical items. Skins change appearance without changing your hull’s statistics.
Paint keeps its permanent collection. Unlock a finish once, then return to it through Customize without spending another bottle. Previously applied colours remain available, and natural starter wood finishes can be chosen again. In Misc, a Name Change Scroll costs 1,050 Diamonds and is consumed only after a successful rename; invalid or unavailable names keep the scroll intact.
The interface makes more room for sailing. Service icons stay above the sails, fishing locations use the Net symbol, and the Journal has its own book beside Mail. The party roster stacks above the Journal, while darker chart water makes the exact PvP boundary easier to read. The Mail window fits its contents, Friends has a clear close button, XP gains appear beside the XP icon, and the shortcut icons share consistent colours and shadows. Death-barrel recovery sits beneath the compass, with the selected target below it. If a moving ship temporarily blocks a guided route, the game asks you to try Navigate again instead of leaving the click unexplained.
Combat has more weight and clearer rules. Impacts vary in pitch, and damage gives your boat a brief shake. Respawning clears god-spell cooldowns; disconnecting and portal travel do not. Artemis Stealth survives encounter-portal travel and still ends on its normal revealing actions. Changing gods removes your own active god bonuses, including Grave Robber, without restoring Favor or resetting cooldowns. Switching back does not restore the old buff. Wards from another valid caster remain, and enemy debuffs and Captain effects are unaffected.
Returning enemies can recover when a harbour ship blocks their home berth. They find a suitable temporary return point, heal after reaching it and become attackable again, while keeping their original home. Returning sailors keep their saved position. Service ships choose clear starting berths and smoothly make room when a returning sailor overlaps their hull.
Three regional seas are configured: Agean Sea in Frankfurt, Caribean Sea in New York and Andaman Sea in Singapore, each configured with a 40-player cap. Choose a server before Enter world. A 3,200-Diamond region transfer moves your captain’s home to another available public sea without leaving a second playable copy. Finish combat, trading, party activity, treasure hunting and your current journey first; open market orders are cancelled and their uncollected goods and Coins move with you.
The Steam client uses Steam sign-in for players. Free Steam access still awaits Valve’s configuration, and the Steam release is not open yet. Game update 0.17.0 is deployed and verified. Public Steam release and free acquisition remain subject to Valve’s setup.
