Fishing belongs beside the marked blips. Base XP and fish sale payouts are halved, while consecutive Perfect catches build an XP bonus.

Fish only within 12 tiles of a designated fishing blip, across all regions. The chart and minimap show the required tools and levels.
Base Fishing XP is 50% lower, rounded down to whole XP. Sardines now gives 17 base XP instead of 35.
Fish sale payouts are halved from their previous actual prices, with half Coins rounded upward for each fish.
Perfect catches 3–4 earn +10% XP, 5–9 earn +15%, and 10 onward earn +25%. The threshold catch gets the bonus.

Version 0.22.5 is verified on Europa and the Steam default branch. The native launcher remains version 0.16.9.

Green catches, misses, a fled fish, stopping, cancellation and disconnect reset the Perfect streak. A committed Perfect bottle counts once. Small fractions of bonus XP carry within the streak; regional and first-voyage XP boosts apply afterward. The level-120 cap still applies.

A green catch, miss or stop resets the streak. Existing earned XP, fish weights and saved catch identities are retained. Old catches use the new sale rule.

Previous prices of 5, 10 and 15 Coins become 3, 5 and 8 Coins. Sell all adds the rounded price of each fish, just like separate sales.

The displayed streak belongs to the current fishing session. The website practice remains a separate points minigame with no account rewards.
