A harbor character menu follows world selection, with current character and active-boat previews, new-character creation and switching from Esc.

- After choosing Europa, select a saved character with its current appearance and active boat, or create a new one.
- The roster shows your active Captain and a small god badge. Drag your character to inspect its look; releasing returns it to the starting pose.
- Choose a name, god, existing character look and starter boat timber finish before the tutorial. Your Captain is still chosen during the tutorial.
- One character slot is available without Premium. Active Premium permits up to four characters in total; existing characters remain playable after membership ends.
- Diamonds are shared. Coins, skills, cargo, bank contents, ships, quests and other character progress stay separate.
- Esc → Switch character asks for confirmation, saves and leaves the current character, then returns to the harbor roster.
Version 0.22.6 is verified on Europa and the Steam default branch.
This first version uses existing character and world assets. Newly created characters are bound to their selected god; older characters keep their existing saved state and tutorial progress.
The modular character builder, 3D god previews and the proposed new god-change requirements are later work and are not included in this release.
Character switching keeps the Steam account signed in. Combat and unfinished activities must be completed first.
Fishing, combat formulas and stat-builder calibration are unchanged from 0.22.5.
